this post is dedicted to DRA (:(contents do not relate. just updating cos she asked me to)
yesterday, i learnt an invaluable lesson during training.money does not determine or equate to happinesscliche as it may sound, i really just truly understood the meaning of that yesterday.when i was younger, i dreamt of being a ballerina and dancing for kings and queens ( i seriously wrote that in my kindy grad book! dont laugh.)then in sec one i think, i wanted to marry a rich guy that loved me and then we could go on all the shopping ecapades, jet rides, romantic holidays. like that would ever happen, i seriously cant believe i was so naive then. if we kept doing that, how to get the money if he doesnt work right! and if i'm not intelligent, why would any rich businessman in the right mind marry some illiterate person right!we were discussing the topic i think most about - happiness.there's a very thin line that determines who's happy who's not. not only cos its hard to tell ( people put on masks) but also because what makes someone happy may not mean happiness to another. To each his own. You see, to the rich, getting to go to reknowned cafe or even eating is PART OF THEIR EVERYDAY LIFESTYLE, yet just being able to eat can put a smile or even brighten up the day or one in poverty.Or shopping. rich do it everyday. at the click of their fingers, huge labels like burberry, LV, prada etc line up to sell clothes to them, but just getting second handed clothes is a joy to people in third world countries. The rich (some, im not generalizing) demand to have everything in the best quality, they dont need it, they want it, they demand it, the poor just hope to have the simple neccessities of life.UNFAIR?yes, life is unfair.ironic isnt it?that sometimes, even the poor are more satisfied than the rich.why? you may ask. the answer is simple. '' the more you have ; the more you want''think about it. it's true, isnt it ?my conclusion?better living simple, contented and satisfied than rich, unhappy and greedy.on a not-so-deep note:
SATURDAY IS HERE AND SUNDAY IS COMING!!!
