a call to the missions field
have you ever felt that burden in your heart?
that feeling of butterflies in your stomach if you didn't do something that God puts in your heart?
tears pouring out for the nations,
that cut in your heart for the people, feeling their pain and suffering, that purposelessness of wondering what in the world they live for?
that's exactly how i've been feeling.
ever since the visits to bangkok, seeing the lifestyle of the people, even more so hearing about missions. esp cambodia, i simply adore children.
He's implanted in me a desire to reach out to the children in love, in the hope of them being saved. and at least letting them know that hey, there's this God called Jesus who loves you so so so much.
i want to be more like Jesus, i want to walk ahead, shunning the remarks of people who think i'm who i'm not (it's hard, and i'm still trying. people do streotype you to be say, the materialistic bimbo who has a heart of stone or zero intelligence or sth. & it hurts,im still learning.) one time or another if you feel someone, myself or another have judged you in any way, i do apologise and i want you to know how much Jesus loves you (: truly.
i want to be embracing the kids who have been abused, rejected, unloved or condemned and tell them that you are loved, to be there to bring them joy, laughter and someone, that special friend who will be there 24/7. to see those eyes twinkle or mouths widen in joyous smiles.

that's what i want for Christmas.

DEAREST AUNT AGONY,

my future days of happy eating are ruined.
HELPPPPPPPPP.
my new maid cannot cook for nuts. (neither can she cook for coconuts)
if i had the time to cook, i would.
but now, i shall resort to eating OUTSIDE or i shall die of ultimate starvation, i really really have never come across a maid who cannot cook.
even i can cook ! like fried rice,sweet and sour fish, cheesy scrambled eggs, royal chocolate cake, cheesecake, brownies, pineapple rice, sambal kangkong balchan..
now im snacking like BIG TIME. i'm positive my coach will just tell me to stop eating altogether when she sees the fat-balloon-sized nicol.
i LOVE food.
the days where i looked forward to coming home to drink nice tasty homemade soup is now exchanged with dread and frustation of drinking hot water with a layer of oil.
or hearing my beloved sweet and sour fish or pork ribs calling out to me in a sweet voice---''nicol nicol, come to thy.'' is now swapped with the danger sign above it--''death comes to one who eats this.'' it is not even sweet and sour!
sorry you have to listen to this, but please help me find a solution, i cant possibly eat all the msg laden food everyday or the fat laden foods i dont like, i want real good food.
i want to see mommy smiling when she's talking to the maid, sister happily eating, and a healthy NOT SKINNY OR FAT nicol.
she doesnt even listen or read instructions.
